A timeline for award has not yet been established.** The Hillsborough County "County" requires a Contractor to work on this project which includes repair, replacement, rehabilitation, and/or modifications to wastewater pumping stations utilized by the Hillsborough County Water Resources Department. In accordance with Hillsborough County Ordinance No. 21-17 Construction Apprenticeship Program, the bid requirements and resulting contract requires at least 12% Labor Hours. MBE (17.9%), WBE (6.9%) It is anticipated that the work to be performed under this Contract may include, but is not limited to the repair, replacement, rehabilitation, and/or modification of wastewater pump stations and/or modifications at various water, reclaimed water, wastewater facilities, and equipment utilized by the Hillsborough County Water Resources Department. Except as otherwise provided herein, the CONTRACTOR shall furnish all labor, fuel, tools, vehicles, transportation, supplies, equipment, materials, and permits to accomplish the Work contemplated in these Contract Documents in an expeditious and workmanlike manner. All pumps, discharge elbows (pump base ells) and control panels and/or RTU's shall be furnished by Hillsborough County. Hillsborough County Water Resources Department (County) owns, maintains and operates approximately 850 wastewater pump stations throughout Hillsborough County. The County intends to mechanically and electrically upgrade a varying number of pump stations each year to bring stations up to current standards. The County also is in the process of bringing existing pump stations onto an existing Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) system as well as upgrading existing pump stations that already have SCADA, although, a limited number of stations will be upgraded without SCADA. At stations that are being added to SCADA, the County proposes to replace the existing control panels and associated other electrical apparatus with various standard configurations of new RTU's and control panels new control panels will be manufactured by others and furnished by the County. The new control panels will be integrated into the SCADA network using cellular communication. The Contractor shall be present and shall fully support and coordinate activities with an Integrator or County operations and SCADA personnel who will be performing site inspection, loop checkout and testing, PLC programming and HMI/cellular communications configuration, and SCADA startup services for each station. These points of contact may vary during the duration of the contract. Consult with the PROJECT MANAGER for each individual Work Order Project. Demolition/Removal/Installation/Relocation: Demolition, removal, installation, and/or relocation of above and/or below grade concrete structures, asphalt, piping, valves, fittings, pipe appurtenances, pumps, pump appurtenances, fencing, electrical, miscellaneous facilities, equipment, and appurtenances. Site Work: Excavation, removal/disposal backfill, roadwork, concrete slabs, concrete walls, pipe bollards, fencing, traffic control, landscaping removal/disposal, sod removal/disposal, erosion control, and miscellaneous site work. Piping, Valves, and Fittings: Pipes, valves, fittings, and miscellaneous items above grade, below grade, and/or inside wet wells. Mechanical Equipment: Pumps, pump appurtenances, intermediate pipe supports, pump guide rail systems, pipe supports, link seal penetrations, drains, vent piping, odor control systems, and access hatches. Wastewater Wet Well Cleaning and By-Pass Pumping: Cleaning, sand and water blasting, disposal/removal of solid waste, and by-pass pumping large, high volume wastewater systems. During pump station rehab when the normal electrical and control systems are out of service each pump station will be in the complete care and custody of the Contractor
