The County of Yuba is looking for a qualified contractor for the demolition and clean up of a 0.35 acre parcel located at 1576 Second Avenue, Olivehurst, CA 95961 (APN: 013-440-011). Proposed work will consist of demolition of a single family dwelling, partially demolished detached garage, and removal of all foundations. This project is for the demolition and cleanup of a 0.35 acre parcel located at 1576 Second Avenue, Olivehurst, CA 95961 (APN: 013-440-011). Proposed work will consist of demolition of a single family dwelling, partially demolished detached garage, and removal of all foundations. b. Objectives: The objective is to clear the property of all refuse, debris, brush, and other materials that consume the property. The conditions remaining on the properties constitute a Public Nuisance as defined by Yuba County Ordinance Code, and present a threat to public health and safety, fire and life safety, and property values. County will cause the gas and electric utilities to be removed from the property. NOTE: for projects that require immediate demolition of buildings and removal of gas or electric utilities is not immediately feasible, contractor shall adequately tag the utilities and safely work around the utilities so as to not create a public health or safety hazard. Contractor is responsible for worksite safety and is responsible for any unintended or accidental damage to utilities or surrounding properties caused during abatement activities.
