2023 Roof Replacements WBHS & Doherty Elementary West Bloomfield, MI 48324 Remove and Replace the Roofs On WBHS Area Y & Doherty Elementary Area I Each proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount of five percent (5%) of the base proposal executed by an approved Surety Company or a certified check for the same amount made payable to West Bloomfield Schools. The bid security shall remain in effect for a period of sixty (60) days from date of bid opening. The bid bond or check delivery is conditioned to secure West Bloomfield Schools from loss or damage by reason of the withdrawal of the bid or by the failure of the bidder to enter a contract for performance if the bid is accepted by the Owner. Bidders may not alter, withdraw or cancel their bid or any part thereof for sixty (60) days after the time designated for receipt of the bids stated above. Successful bidders for work in excess of $50,000 will be required to provide Payment and Performance Bonds in the amount of 100% of their bid, issued by sureties listed by the U.S. Treasury Department and licensed to do business in Michigan. The roofing work shall begin no sooner than June 27, 2023 and be completed by August 25th, 2023. The Owner reserves the right to accept or reject any total bid, or part thereof, and to award the total contract or part thereof to other than the low bidder. All decisions regarding contract awards will be final.
