This project includes misc. tuckpointing and color matching brick replacement as needed and Control Joint repair for six City owned buildings in two locations in the City of Newton IA Contractors submitting quotations pursuant to this RFQ shall be required to commit to the execution of a contract for the work in the form required by the City. b. Contractors submitting quotations pursuant to this RFQ shall be required to commit to the completion of the work on or before November 30, 2023. The contractor who is awarded the contract to perform the work shall be required to provide a performance bond to secure the timely completion of the work The City of Newton does hereby reserve the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to enter into such contract, or contracts, as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the jurisdiction. 1) City Hall Brick match required, bricks will not be provided 2) Control Joints needing repair directed by City Staff 3) Four Window Arch Joints need Caulked and Sealed. 4) Power tool and hand tool clean as needed. 5) Protect adjacent areas. 6) All Waste Water building bricks will be provided;
