The scope of work for this project includes furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, fixtures, and services required for the construction of a Concession and Restroom Stand within the Camp Verde Sports Complex, located at 990 E. Champion Trail, Camp Verde, Arizona in accordance with the Plans, Specifications and Agreement documents. The project consists of the construction of a 1-story masonry building and steel shade canopy to be used for park restrooms, concessions, office, and maintenance storage and related work as required. It is the intention of the Town of Camp Verde to enter into a Contract for the proposed Construction. Work includes but not limited to, foundation, flatwork, masonry, wood framing, drywall/painting, roofing, mechanical, plumbing and electrical work per the Project documents, Plans and Technical Specifications included in this Agreement. All Utility drawing(s) will be uploaded as additional plan sheets. Bidders shall be responsible for all licenses, permits, insurance, taxes and bonds required by the TOWN and the State of Arizona that apply to the performance of this contract. Each Bidder shall submit with his proposal, a bid bond for an amount of not less than ten (10) percent of the gross amount of the Bid, payable to the order of The Town of Camp Verde. The Bid Bond shall be provided by a surety company holding a certificate of authority to transact business in the State of Arizona in accordance with the requirements of A.R.S. 34-201. An unconditional certified check or cashier's check may be submitted instead of a bid bond. The Bid Bond is required as a guarantee that the contractor will enter into an Agreement to perform the proposal in accordance with the plans and specifications, or as compensation to the Town for damages incurred as provided by A.R.S. 34-201 in the event of failure or refusal of the contractor to enter into the Agreement. The Bond will be returned to the contractors whose proposals are not accepted, and to the successful contractor, upon execution of a satisfactory Agreement. The Agreement will be awarded to the lowest responsible bidder whose bid is responsive to this Invitation for Bid and will be most advantageous to the Town. Responsible factors to be considered may include, but are not limited to, the bidder's past performance on other Contracts, and other matters set forth in the Agreement Forms. The Town of Camp Verde retains the right to reject any or all bids received if the Town determines that such rejection is in the best interest of the public.
