NACE 325019 - Bridge and Pavement Preservation Project a) This acquisition is being conducted via the Small Business Administration's 8(a) program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code and the associated small business size standard are noted in clause 52.204-8 in section "K" of this solicitation. b) Estimated Price Range: Between $5,000,000 and $10,000,000 IAW FAR 36.204. c) Refer to section "L" for information regarding a pre-proposal site visit. d) Information and requirements stated in sections "B" through "J" & attachments noted in section "J" apply to this solicitation and the subsequent contract. e) Refer to section "L" for proposal submittal requirements. f) This is currently an unfunded requirement with a high expectation that funds will be available. When and if funds become available a contract will be awarded at that time. g) Offerors shall submit proposals and questions, and acknowledge solicitation amendments as stated in section "L" of this solicitation Bridge Preservation, Preventive Maintenance, and Repair Activities - including but not limited to: o Concrete Deck Repair o Deck Joints and Deck Joint Seals o Bearings/Substructures o Guardrails/Railings o Bridge Surroundings - Vegetation Clearing/Removal - Erosion Control - Guardrail Repair/Replacement/Installation - Limited Roadway Signage Roadway Preservation, Preventive Maintenance, Repair, and Safety Activities - including but not limited to: o Asphalt Pavement Preservation (Crack Sealing, Chip Sealing, Microsurfacing, and Deep Patching) on Roadways o Pavement Marking Removal/Installation (Longitudinal Markings, Transverse Markings, Symbols, etc) The Work consists of: 1. The bridge preservation work includes concrete repair for spalling concrete, sealing concrete cracks, repairing existing stone masonry and repointing, bridge expansion joint work, sealing existing joints, replacing missing bridge rails, bolts and posts, replacing approach guardrails, painting bearings and sole plates, resurfacing roadway approaches, pavement marking, roadway traffic signage and object markers and general site clearing. 2. The pavement preservation work includes tree trimming, microsurfacing, chip seal, shoulder grading, crack sealing, full depth pavement patching and pavement markings. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
