The project includes a Sitework Construction Contract to perform the work associated with the Main Building Reconstruction for the Madison Central School District. Submit all questions about the Bid Documents to MARCH Associates VIA Email to the following address - submittals@marchassoc.com at least 5 days prior to date for receipt of Bids. Replies will be issued to all Bidders of Record as Addenda to the Bid Documents and will become a part of the Contract. No Bidder shall rely upon any interpretation or correction by any other method. The successful Bidder, upon failure or refusal to execute and deliver the Contract and Bonds required within the stated time after receiving notice of the acceptance of bid, shall forfeit to the Owner, as liquidated damages for such failure or refusal, the security deposited with bid. Each Proposal must be accompanied by a Bid Bond or a Certified Check payable to Madison Central School District in the amount of five percent (5%) of the Bid Proposal. Bid Bonds shall be a fully executed AIA Document A310 (copy attached), or equivalent Bid Bond. The successful Contractor shall deliver to the Owner prior to the execution of the Contract, Bonds covering the faithful performance of the Contract, and the payment of all obligations arising thereunder, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount with such sureties secured through the Bidder's usual sources as may be agreeable to the parties. The Owner reserves the right to disqualify Bids, before or after opening, upon evidence of collusion with intent to defraud or other illegal practices upon the part of the Bidder.
