DESCRIPTION OF WORK: Arnold Cypress Park is located at 8611 Watson Street in the city of Cypress and the 15-acre site is home to Cypress Girls Softball and various park activities. The rehabilitation of Arnold Cypress Park will include, but not be limited to, the following: demolition of the existing site (including perimeter fencing and walls, buildings and clear and grub), new site improvement including three lighted, synthetic turf softball fields, one natural grass softball field with infield mix, all associated ballfield amenities (including dugout and bullpens), separate batting cage and bullpen area, eight lighted pickleball courts, lighted basketball and volleyball hardcourts, exercise equipment cluster, perimeter walking trail, park amenities (including shade shelters, trash receptacles, drinking fountains, dog waste containers and tables/benches, etc.), children's play environment for 2-5 and 5-12 year olds with PIP rubber surfacing and shade shelter, prefabricated storage and restroom building, perimeter CMU block wall along south and western side of property, site utilities (including abandonment and new service connections, as required), and landscape and automatic irrigation improvements throughout. The Engineer's estimate for this project is $18 million to $22 million. COMPLETION OF WORK: The entire project shall be completed within two hundred sixty (260) working days (+90-day Landscape Maintenance) following written Notice to Proceed from the City. The park must be substantially complete and fully operational by October 1, 2024. *The value for this project is based on a financial range. The value is listed as the highest possible cost from the range provided by a stakeholder or official project document.
