The work consists of labor and materials for general installation of sidewalks and other ancillary improvements. Location varies along Northwood Dr (East), Northwood Dr (West), Northwood Dr (North), Terrance Dr, Broadway Avenue U, and 4th Street. No questions or requests for additional information will be accepted later than 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August, 23, 2023. A bid security of 5% of the total bid amount, including all Additive Alternatives and Allowances, must accompany each bid or proposal. A certified check or bank draft payable to the City of Marble Falls may be submitted in lieu of the Bid Bond. The Contractor shall modify TCP and construction phasing, as directed or approved by the Engineer. Begin construction of the locations adjacent to schools (Phases 6 through 8) at the end of the 2023- 2024 school year and obtain substantial completion of those locations prior to the start of the 2024- 2025 school year The City of Marble Falls reserves the right to waive any informality that is not detrimental to any other bidder or potential bidder or to reject all bids or to accept the lowest responsible bidder that in the judgment of the City Council will be in the best interest of the City of Marble Falls.
