The Project consists of construction of approximately 460 linear feet of breakwater, dredging two nearshore borrow sources, and installing approximately 2,200 cubic yards of dredged material along a breached portion of Shamrock Island's northwest shoreline and placement of up to approximately 45,000 cubic yards of dredged material within a nearshore feeder berm template near the southwestern shoreline. Any contract awarded under this Advertisement for Bids will be funded in whole or in part by financial assistance to Owner from (i) the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) under the Resources and Ecosystems Sustainability, Tourist Opportunities and Revived Economies of the Gulf Coast States Act of 2012 (RESTORE Act) under Contract No. 582-19-97172 entitled "Shamrock Island Restoration Phase II" involving funding received by TCEQ from the United States Department of the Treasury through Federal Financial Assistance Award ID No. RDCGR480085, and (ii) the Texas General Land Office (GLO) under the Coastal Erosion Planning and Response Act (CEPRA) for CEPRA Project No. 1641 entitled "Shamrock Island Habitat Protection and Enhancement" under GLO Contract No. 19-226-010-B785. Any Contract awarded will be subject to such funding requirements as may be applicable, including, without limitation, the RESTORE Act Financial Assistance Standard Terms and Conditions and Program-Specific Terms and Conditions (RESTORE Act Terms & Conditions). Neither the State of Texas, TCEQ, GLO, nor any of their departments, agencies, officers, directors, or employees are or will be party to this Advertisement for Bids or any contract awarded hereunder.
