This Request for Proposals (the "RFP") is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba ("Manitoba"), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Projects Planning and Delivery ("CPPD") to prospective proponents to submit proposals for General Contracting Services for the renovations of office space on the 9th floor of 215 Garry St. as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the "Work"). CPPD requires the services of a General Contractor for the renovation of existing office space in 215 Garry St., an eighteen story office building providing government office space. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, the construction of new offices using drywall wall systems, moving services, painting, electrical and mechanical work to suit new offices, and new furniture (to be provided by others). Work site location will be occupied during construction. CPPD is administering this RFP process. For the purposes of this procurement process, the "RFP Contact" will be: Contract Administrator: El Dela Cruz Email: cppdprocurement@gov.mb.ca Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent's proposal. Deadline for registration is the end of the business day May 12, 2023. Attendance at the site visit will be recorded. If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact. Proponents are not entitled to rely on information received from CPPD, CPPD's representatives or other third parties at the site visit unless the RFP Contact has provided the information in writing. *Official bid documents must be obtained from www.merx.com and bid submissions must be done through the Merx platform.
