As of October 26, 2023, project has been put back on hold as bids returned were too high and the project will not likely proceed. Sealed Bids will be received for the furnishing of all labor, materials, tools, equipment, transportation, supervision, and the complete performance of all work specified in the Contract for: Mt. Pleasant Boro Gazebo Renovation. A. The Work comprises the Project for the GAZEBO RENOVATION for MT.PLEASANT BOROUGH. Project is located in Mt. Pleasant Borough, Westmoreland County, PA to be completed for the Mt. Pleasant Borough. B. Scheduled Demolition Work is to demolish the existing roofing material to sheathing. Remove all decorative metal "Gingerbread," existing railings, and column covers. Prepare all surfaces for scheduled work. Perform a visual inspection of the existing wood columns and notify the Architect with visible defects. Crown the existing concrete slab with underlayment to have minimum positive drainage. Scheduled Work is to provide flooring and grout, powder coated railings (see alternates), standing seam metal roofing, column covers, and linear metal ceilings (see alternates). Coordinate with Owner for stained glass installation. A Pre-Bid Conference will not be held. Bidders shall examine the site of their own accord. The Borough of Mount Pleasant reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, waive irregularities in the proposals and accept any proposal deemed to be most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
