The Project generally consists of the installation of 4 concrete conservation release weirs on the bypass streams of the Ringtown No. 6, Ringtown No. 5, and Raven Run No. 2 reservoirs as well as installation of 2 flowmeters on raw water transmission mains between Ringtown No. 6 to Ringtown No. 5 and Ringtown No. 5 to Raven Run No. 3 reservoirs. A certified check or bank draft, payable to the order of the Municipal Authority of the Borough of Shenandoah or a satisfactory Bid Bond executed by the Bidder and acceptable surety in the amount of 10 percent of the Total Bid shall be submitted with each bid. The SUCCESSFUL BIDDER will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond, each in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract Price with a corporate surety approved by the Owner. PA Prevailing Wage Rates apply. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding. Question Deadline 08/14/2023 at 5:00 PM ET Clarification Deadline If a site visit is needed by the Contractor, please contact the MABS office via telephone at 570-462-1904 to notify the main office that you will be entering the property. The Contractor must provide the timeframe that they will be onsite for security purposes. The facilities themselves can be accessed by foot. The Owner and Engineer are not available for a site visit.
