A New Greenhouse Building at the High School Site Located at the Intersection of U.S, Route 34 and Illinois Route 116 The Contract Documents, including plans, specifications, instructions to bidders and proposal forms may be examined at the office of: Graham and Hyde Architects, Inc. 344 West Chestnut, Canton, Illinois 61520 Proposals shall be accompanied by Bid Guarantee in form of a Bid Bond for 5 percent of the gross amount of the bid, made payable as described in the Contract Documents. Such bid bond shall be forfeited as liquidated damages by the Bidder should he fail to enter into a contract and furnish a satisfactory performance bond within the following number of days: 10 after notification of acceptance of his proposal. The bid bonds of all excepting the three lowest formal bidders will be returned within the following number of days after bid opening: 7 and the remaining bid bonds will be returned within the following number of days after bid opening: 30, with the exception mentioned above. All proposals must be made on forms furnished by the architect. No bid may be withdrawn after scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at least this number of calendar days: 30 The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any informalities in bidding. All contractors and subcontractors shall comply with Illinois Statutes concerning mandatory drug testing for all workers on this project.
