**As of August 16 2023, project was awarded, start date is Mid of September and will be completed by end of this year** There are two different kinds of roofs associated with these two projects, that will require two separate bids and two separate contracts. Each project is unique; therefore, it is mandatory that all bidders attend the pre-bid meeting / job walk through. Project one will consist of removing the existing wooden shakes at the Bait & Brew building and replacing it with a metal roof. Project two will consist of removing and replacing the composition roof at the Grill & Brew building. All Bidders must be Contractors holding a valid State of California Contractor's license to perform the required work as provided by the Business and Professions Code. The Contractor's license(s), number(s), and expiration date(s) must be provided. Prevailing wages will apply as specified by the California Department of Industrial Relations (DIR). California State Prevailing Wage information is available through the California DIR websites below. The final day to submit questions will be Tuesday, June 13, 2023, by 4:00p.m. Please direct questions regarding this RFP in writing via email to Kyla Burton at kburton@co.siskiyou.ca.us. No phone calls please. Notice is hereby given that the Siskiyou County Public Works Department is inviting separate bids for the Reroofing of the Bait & Brew (marina) and the Grill and Brew Buildings at the Lake Siskiyou Campground. The resulting separate contracts will involve the removal of existing roofing materials and replacement of two roofs. A separate bid and cost proposal (page 26 & 27) will be required for each roof project.
