The following estimated bid quantities apply: 15,910 sy milling; 1,295 tons 19mm Binder Course, 273 tons 19mm Binder Course, 65 tons 9.5mm Wearing (Scratch) Course, 85 tons 25mm Base Course; 700 tons 9.5mm Fine-Graded Wearing Course, 181 tons 9.5mm Wearing Course; 17 ADA Ramps (Design/Build) Special. A certified check, bank cashier's check or bid bond in an amount equal to 10% of the bid, payable to the City of Oil City, shall be submitted with the bid. A noncollusion affidavit is necessary. After contract award, 100% performance and payment bonds will be required. This project is funded through Federal Community Development Block Grant (CDBG), State Liquid Fuels monies and local funds. Relevant Federal Regulations including prevailing wage rates, labor standards, nondiscrimination in hiring, and MBE/WBE/Section 3 participation apply as outlined in the contract documents. The City of Oil City reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to award the bid as is most advantageous to the city. No bidder will be subjected to discrimination in consideration for an award. Bids may be held for a period not to exceed 30 days from the date of bid opening for the purpose of reviewing the bids and bidders. Mark G. Schroyer City Manager.
