This project consists of the vendor furnishing all personnel, labor, materials, equipment and incidentals necessary for the construction of a pedestrian bridge near the hill at Sims Park. For proposal requirements and to get a better understanding of the requirements of this CSP, please refer to all documents and drawings provided through Bonfire. The rates quoted on the BidTable must be all-inclusive. All-inclusive shall be construed as costs incorporating all charges for labor, material, equipment and any other cost incurred. No separate line item rates or charges will be accepted. The proposed signature pedestrian bridge is 8-spans over Sims Bayou and is connected by trails on the northwest and southeast ends. In the fifth span, the bridge splits with one segment extending to the east as a cantilevered overlook bridge. The main bridge includes the cantilever overlook and is approximately 595 feet in length. The length of the spur that comes off the fifth span and comes down to the trail is 287 feet long. The bridge structure will be a prefabricated steel truss on aesthetic, reinforced concrete columns with towers at bents 2 and 7. The bridge has typical 100' spans except for the end spans. The concrete columns will be supported on footings with 36" diameter drilled shafts. The abutments will consist of 36" dia. drilled shafts with an 18" drilled shaft supporting the aesthetic wingwalls
