The work includes, but is not limited to, the following at Newland Residence Hall located on the Appalachian State University campus: Building Envelope Above Grade Wall Repairs, Building Envelope Below Grade Waterproofing Repairs, Elevator Modernization, HVAC Ventilation and Humidity Control Improvements, Electrical Improvements to support Elevator Modernization and HVAC Improvements. The Work shall be conducted in two separate phases: Phase 1 - Summer 2023, and Phase 2 - Summer 2024. A performance bond and a payment bond will be required for one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price. Payment will be made based on ninety-five percent (95%) of monthly estimates and final payment made upon completion and acceptance of work. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for a period of 90 days. The owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive informalities Sealed proposals will be received by Appalachian State University in Boone, NC, in the ASU Planning, Design and Construction Office, located at 2458 HWY 105, Boone, NC 28607 up to 3:00 pm on Thursday, June 8, 2023 and immediately thereafter publicly opened and read for the furnishing of labor, material and equipment
