The Sarasota Housing Authority (hereinafter, "the Agency") is a public entity that was formed in 1938 to provide federally subsidized housing and housing assistance to low-income families, within the City of Sarasota, FL. The Agency is headed by a President & CEO and is governed by a seven-person board of commissioners and is subject to the requirements of Title 24 of the Code of Federal Regulations (hereinafter, "CFR") and the Agency's procurement policy Currently, the Agency owns and/or manages: (a) Conventional Public Housing complexes totaling 164 units; (b) Two multifamily Section 8 PBRA towers with 175 units; (c) administers a total of 1,900 Section 8 Housing Choice Vouchers; (d) 67 affordable rental units, and (e) HUD Public Housing Capital Fund Program annual grants as well as other grants. The Agency is entrepreneurial in its mission to develop and provide housing to low-income families and individuals, and in serving the community at large. The Agency has an annual budget in excess of $20 million and currently employs 40 staff. In keeping with our Agency Procurement Policy, the Agency is now soliciting proposals from qualified, licensed and insured entities to provide these services to the Agency. All proposals submitted in response to this solicitation must conform to all of the requirements and specifications outlined within this document and any designated attachments in its entirety. A performance and payment bond for 100% of the contract price; or Separate payment and performance bonds each for 50% or more of the contract price; or A 20% cash escrow; or A 25% irrevocable letter of credit .DEADLINE TO SUBMIT QUESTIONS Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 2:00 pm EST
