2023 Rice Township Drainage Improvement Project. BID SECURITY in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total bid shall be submitted with each bid, in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond for 100% of their bid amount and a Labour and Material Payment Bond for 100% of their bid amount within 15 days of the contract being awarded. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a one-year Maintenance Bond for (100%) of the total construction cost. The Rice Township Board of Supervisors does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national origin, sex, religion, age, disability of familial status in employment of the provision of service. The Rice Township Board of Supervisors is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. The Rice Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to reject any or all Bids or to waive informalities in the bidding. BIDS may be held by the Rice Township Board of Supervisors for a period not to exceed ninety (90) days from the date of the Opening of the Bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids, prior to awarding the Contract. In this period of time, no Bidder may withdraw their Bid.
