The City of Williams Lake invites Tenderers to complete the following work along the Williams Lake River immediately downstream of the Highway 20 Bridge: Construction of new pile-supported, reinforced concrete abutments at the West and East sides of Williams Lake River channel including clearing and grubbing, excavation to subgrade, preparation of subgrade, supply and installation of steel piles, concrete work including all reinforcing steel, formwork and concrete, anchor bolts and subdrains. Construction of Segmental Block Retaining Walls at the West and East sides of the Williams Lake River channel including clearing and grubbing, excavation, preparation of subgrade, supply and installation of granular base materials, supply and installation of segmental blocks complete with geotextile reinforcing and backfill, and subdrains. Construction of Approach Ramps on both sides of the Bridge Structure including clearing and grubbing, supply, placement and compaction of soil and roadway surfacing materials – and removal and disposal of surplus and/or unsuitable materials. Fabrication, Transportation and Erection of new Steel Girder Bridge Superstructure. Supply and Installation of Precast Concrete Bridge Deck Panels along full length of new Steel Girder Bridge Superstructure. Supply and Installation of Glulam Guard Rail along full length of new Steel Girder Bridge Superstructure and preservative-treated Timber Guard Rail along adjacent Approaches and gravel pathway. Finish Grading at Abutments. Construction of 115m of Gravel Pathway including clearing and grubbing, supply, placement and compaction of soil and roadway surfacing materials (taking care to avoid ground disturbance except as permitted by archaeological professional) – and removal and disposal of surplus and/or unsuitable materials.
