The City of Greenville is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors for the installation of a pedestrian hybrid beacon at the intersection of Augusta Street and Field Street. The scope of work will consist of the installation of mast arm signal poles and signal equipment, a landscaped pedestrian refuge on Augusta Street, and a concrete island on Augusta Street. The construction limits of this project extend from 154 Augusta Street to Bradshaw Street. The project will consist of striping, curb and gutter, concrete sidewalk, landscaping, installation of mast arm signal poles and pedestrian poles, signal installation, and all related traffic control as shown in the construction plans.
