Lincoln Park Public Schools is requesting Bids Submittals for the removal of Asbestos Containing Materials Ceiling materials in Corridors / Classrooms Selective Interior Demolition. All abatement projects (Asbestos) shall be performed within full negative pressure HEPA filtered containment areas. Prior to Renovation/Demolition for Summer Work 2023. Asbestos Abatement will involve removal of Non Asbestos Containing Ceiling Tiles with Asbestos Containing Glue-pods on plasterboard/drywall ceiling systems to include all steel and metal supporting materials in the corridors and classrooms along the exterior wall systems, thermal system insulations -ACM pipe insulation/fittings where discovered may be damaged requiring Removal or Repair The Bid Bond: Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond by a Treasury approved surety licensed to do business in the State of Michigan, Cashier's Check, or Certified Check in the amount of 5% of the bid price shall be submitted with the "Bid Proposal Packet" and shall be submitted with the understanding that if his/her bid is accepted, he/she will enter into a formal contract with the Owner in accordance with the form of agreement and that the required Performance and Payment Bonds will be given. Bid security obligee is Lincoln Park Public Schools. Bidders shall agree not to withdraw proposals for a period of forty-five (45) days after date for receipt of bids. The Performance Bond & Labor and Material Payment: The accepted bidder(s) will be required to furnish in the amount of 100% of the Contract Price, satisfactory Performance Bond and Labor and Material Payment Bond by a Treasury approved surety licensed to do business in the State of Michigan. Lincoln Park Public Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids received and to waive any informalities and irregularities in the bidding. Question Deadline 05/04/2023 at 4:00 PM ET
