The purpose of these services is to provide subsurface conditions at the exploration points that were requested by the Client. The original Scope of Services for this project included the advancement of 3 test borings to depths ranging from 25 to 35 feet below existing site grades; however, bedrock was encountered at relatively shallow depths, and the borings were terminated at refusal depths ranged from 7 to 13 feet below existing grades. After further discussions with the Client, 2 additional borings were requested and completed to reach the Client desired depth of 35 feet. Subsequently, the Client requested an additional 7 borings be completed; however, Boring B-6 could not be completed due to utility conflicts at the time of our field work. After conferring with the Client, it was determined that B-6 could be omitted from our scope. The wage rate for employees of a Contractor or Subcontractor shall not be less than the minimum wage prescribed by federal or state law unless higher compensation is required by federal or state law.
