The furnishing of all services, labor, materials and equipment for the construction of the following project: CR 455/Ray Goodgame Parkway from Good Hearth Boulevard to Lost Lake Road This project scope involves the widening of CR 455/Ray Goodgame Parkway from a two-lane undivided roadway to four-lane urban roadway from Lost Lake Road to Good Hearth Boulevard. The project consists of constructing Northbound lanes which will include two 12-foot travel lanes, a 4-foot bike lane, a 5-foot sidewalk, and half of the raised median (11 feet). The southbound lanes will be milled and resurfaced. The project length is approximately 0.795 miles. The project also includes maintenance of traffic, curb and gutter, stabilization, embankment, base, mill and resurface, 4' concrete sidewalk, turnouts construction, signing and pavement marking, erosion control and drainage improvements including inlet tops. The Board of County Commissioners reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive formalities, and to award the contract in the best interest of Lake County, Florida. All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Guarantee acceptable to the County Attorney, which shall be one of the following; bid bond or letter of credit, in the sum of five percent (5%) of the base bid and made payable to Lake County. Said bid bond or letter of credit shall be a guarantee that should the bid be accepted, the bidder will, within ten (10) days after written notice of the award of the contract, enter into a contract with Lake County for the services proposed to be performed and will at that time furnish an acceptable contract surety. Cash, company or personal checks will not be accepted.
