Question Submission Deadline 04/28/2023 05:00 PM EDT The Consultant agrees to perform the services embodied in the Scope of Work attached hereto and hereinafter referred to as Exhibit A. Said Exhibit A is incorporated by reference as written hereinafter in full. The City of Centerville is soliciting proposals to provide all labor, equipment, and materials necessary to change-out sprinkler heads throughout the Heritage course (holes #1-#9) at Yankee Trace Golf Course, located at 10000 Yankee Street, Centerville, Ohio 45458. Description of Work: o Work will include sod removal and turf restoration. o Where trenching or excavation occurs on or around existing turf, the sod is to be cut, rolled, maintained, and replaced. Cut sod a minimum 18" wide and a minimum depth of 0.75". Ensure that all sod is replaced no more than forty- eight hours after it is lifted. Replace sod neatly and tightly, with strips being laid in the same place from which they were lifted. Any void between the replaced sod and the existing turf will be filled with topsoil or topdressing mix and reseeded with a seed mix provided by the Owner. Tapered edges must be cut off and inside edges squared before sod is re- laid over the trench, around sprinklers. o When digging out the old heads, keep the old heads - do not destroy sprinkler heads. Store dirt from holes on plywood, for no more than 48 hours. Install new heads in accordance with manufacturer's instructions. All excess wire to be taped to sprinkler heads. When backfilling the holes, tamp or compact the soil every 6" of lift to ensure no settling of the soil and heads. o The type of sprinkler head to be used is the Toro Infinity 55 Series Head, or the Rainbird 952 Sprinkler Head. Please specify in the Bid Express section of the submission which type of head your bid is including. o The equipment utilized for this project shall be suitable for driving on golf course turf, without destroying it, and anything damaged shall be restored.
