As of August 16,2023 , this project has not yet been awarded. The project is expected to be awarded on September 1,2023. The work shall include, but shall not necessarily be limited to, the following: It is understood that portions of the Tag and Tax Department may need to be temporarily closed in order to execute the scope of work. Advent Interiors will move all furniture needed to complete the project. Details will be discussed further during the pre-bid meeting. Any furniture affixed to the wall is to be covered and protected from paint. Any cubicles are to be left in place and covered to protect items from paint As of June 15, 2024, this project is set to rebid at a later date. Sealed bids to renovate the Tax and Tag Office located at 240 Pine Avenue Albany, Georgia according to bid documents, specifications, and all other contract documents. 5% Bid Bond is required of all bidders. Bid bond must be present for bid to be read or considered. A Contract Performance Bond, and Labor and Material Payment Bond each in an amount equal to 100% of the contract amount will be required of the successful bidder. The City of Albany and Dougherty County strongly encourages Small Business firms to participate in this bid.
