PROJECT SUMMARY : It is the intention of these specifications to have all existing exterior front side of the building surfaces repainted, and all cracked or broken windows repaired/replaced. All paint shall be applied at the manufacturer's recommended mil thickness per coat. The application shall be sufficiently heavy to achieve pleasingly uniform color and lucid effect. Bidsf or Public Works will not be considered or accepted unless the bid is accompanied by bid security in an amount of not less than five percent (5%) of the sum of the Base Bid and any Alternates. The University will assess liquidated damages to the contractor for failure to comply with the schedule of the work. Liquidated damages shall be assessed at the rate of $250.00 per day for each additional day required to fully complete the scope of work. The contractor shall fully complete all work in the base bid within 84 days of notice to proceed, in accordance with the projectspecificationsin the Summary of Work paragraph, from the receipt of a purchase order from GSU.
