Drainage Improvements within the Evergreen Villas Subdivision (2018) for Harris County Precinct 1 - UPIN 19101MF14M01 The project is located from 200 ft West of Montclair Bend Ln to Leafy Autumn Path along East Little York The Evergreen Village Drainage Improvements project site consists of subdivision drainage improvements and stormwater detention basin located at the site of the existing pond. The existing RCP pipe drainage system along E Little York, from 200' west of Montclair Bend Lane to Leafy Autumn Path, will be removed and replaced by larger RCB and larger RCP to allow more volume and flow. The work will mainly fall along the southern ROW limits of the roadway. Other work locations on Foliage Trail, City Green Trail, and Urban Oak Trail will consist of adding new area inlets with leads connecting to the existing drainage system. The new drainage system will outfall into an existing detention pond which is to be converted from a large dry-bottom pond to become a wet-bottom detention pond volume and storage capacity while maintaining the existing outfall. The pond excavation will be over 145,000 CY to be hauled off and removed from the site. The overall objective for this project is to reduce roadway ponding and structural flooding within the Evergreen Village subdivision. This project is sponsored by the Harris County Engineering Department (HCED), Harris County Precinct One and Greenwood Utility District in response to Hurricane Harvey. Work by the Contractor and subcontractors shall be in accordance with applicable regulations.
