Rehabilitate and reconstruct bituminous asphalt pavement on Taxiway A. Project includes excavation, grading, drainage, crushed aggregate base course, pavement construction, markings, electrical, deicing tank construction, landscaping, and incidental construction as shown on the bid documents. Questions The Bidder shall submit all questions, clarifications, bid document discrepancies or omissions via the eBuilder Q&A Board within the Bid Package. Inquiries shall be answered in the form of an Addendum. To receive attention, inquiries must be submitted not later than Noon, Ten (10) days prior to the Bid Date. This work shall be done in strict accordance with the Contract Documents prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc. for The Pennsylvania State University, Owner. B. All construction shown on the contract drawings and not expressly mentioned in the specifications and all work specified and not shown on the drawings, but obviously necessary to the proper execution of same, shall be performed by the Contractor, as it is not the intent to delineate or describe every detail and feature of work. No additions to the contract sum will be approved for any materials, equipment, and/or labor to perform work hereunder unless it can be clearly shown to be beyond the scope and intent of the drawings and specifications and absolutely essential to the proper prosecution of the work. C. Work under this contract consists of the complete construction work and includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the furnishing of all labor, superintendence, material, tools, and equipment necessary to complete all the work as shown on the contract drawings and as specified hereinafter.
