Maple Street and Peters Road Waterline Improvements in accordance with the specifications now on file in the office of the Director of Public Service and Safety, City of Troy, Ohio. This project includes the installation of 1,400 feet of 8" ductile iron water main along Maple Street and associated water services, abandoning of existing 6" water line on Peters Road, transfer of water services to an existing 16" waterline on Peters Road and relocation of a master meter pit. All Contractors and Subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practical, use Ohio products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of this project. A bid guaranty as follows is required to accompany each proposal as a guarantee that if the proposal is accepted a contract will be entered into: A bid bond in the amount of 100% payable to the City of Troy, or A certified check, a cashier's check, Official Bank Check, or a letter of credit in the amount of 10% payable to the City of Troy, Ohio The City of Troy reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive any irregularities in the bids when to the advantage of the City and to select the best bid in its opinion. The City of Troy, Ohio is in compliance with ADA. Interpretations a. All questions about the meaning or intent of Bidding Documents or discovery of any ambiguities, inconsistencies, errors or omissions in the Bidding Documents, including plans, shall be submitted promptly in writing to the City. b. Replies will be issued by Addendum mailed or delivered by FAX to all parties recorded by the City as having received the Bidding Documents. c. Questions received less than 72 hours prior to the time and date for opening Bids will not be answered. d. Only questions answered by formal written Addenda will be binding. Oral or other interpretations will be without legal effect. included with the final invoice.
