Replace three existing pneumatic actuated butterfly valves with new electric actuated butterfly valves. 1. Coordinate with plant operators to remove existing clarifier from service. 2. Abandon existing air piping. Plug existing piping at blower header. 3. Remove existing pneumatic actuators and butterfly valves. Replace existing butterfly valves with new 4-inch Pratt 2FII AWWA Butterfly valves with Beck electric (open/close) actuators. 4. New actuators will be powered from existing 120V power from circuits in Blow Down Valve Actuator Feeder Panel located in Filter Gallery. 5. New actuators will be controlled using existing 4-20mA control wiring from Filter Control Room. Install support beam as shown mounted on top of existing concrete and support existing piping and new valves and fittings. Clean and paint all new and existing piping and valves. Replace three existing pneumatic actuated butterfly valves with new electric actuated butterfly valves. 1. Coordinate with plant operators to remove existing clarifier from service. 2. Abandon existing air piping. Plug existing piping at blower header. 3. Remove existing pneumatic actuators and butterfly valves. Replacement and installation of four existing differential pressure transmitters for the existing venturi meters with new Rosemount Differential Pressure Transmitters (3051CD2A02A1AM4D4S6H2BAQ4) including alternate flange, mounting bracket, and calibration. 1. Replace one differential pressure transmitter on the backwash piping meter. 2. Replace three differential pressure transmitter assemblies on each of the filter effluent venturi meters. Roof Support Structure 1. Construct a reinforced concrete grade beam as shown along the existing grade beam to support the roof support structure. 2. Construct a steel framed support structure using cold-formed steel structural framing members for column, joist, and purlins. The design shall be part of the roof design and independent of the walls of the structure and shall provide for the support of the roof and roof loads. The right is reserved by the City of Port Neches, Texas, as its interest may require, to accept or reject any or all bids, and to waive any informality in the bids received. All questions about the meaning or intent of the Bidding Documents are to be submitted to Engineer in writing. Interpretations or clarifications considered necessary by Engineer in response to such questions will be issued by Addenda mailed or delivered to all parties recorded by Engineer as having received the Bidding Documents. Questions received less than ten days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered. Only questions answered by Addenda will be binding. Oral and other interpretations or clarifications will be without legal effect.
