Description: Base Bid Description: This project consists of fire alarm, mechanical, and electrical work. The fire alarm scope includes the complete replacement of the existing fire alarm system for the property. Contractor shall include all labor and materials for a complete and functional system. The mechanical scope includes the replacement of existing housing unit exhaust fans. The electrical scope includes support of the fire alarm and mechanical scope including disconnecting / reconnecting of fire alarm panels, mechanical equipment, control circuits, etc. Contract Time: 87 calendar days. Liquidated Damages: $850.00 per day. Prevailing Wages must be paid on this project. Additional Description: Every person planning to attend the pre-bid meeting must obtain a security clearance in order to enter prison property. All attendees must complete and submit the NDOC Contractor Background Check Application and the NDOC Security Regulations Acknowledgement Form a minimum of 7 days prior to the pre-bid meeting date. See Supplemental Instructions to Bidders for details on obtaining a security clearance. Project has been cancelled.
