Reference Number 0000316873 The work under this contract consists of providing all necessary labor, material and equipment required to construct a new steel sheet pile bulkhead around the existing effluent Outfall Jetty, located within the Village of Mamaroneck's Harbor Island Park. The new steel sheet pile bulkhead, using marine grade steel, will be constructed to the same finished elevation as the existing steel bulkhead and approximately 2' feet to the waterside of the existing steel bulkhead. Some portions of the new bulkhead will be constructed using stone revetment to the waterside of the existing bulkhead in areas where the new steel sheet piling is not being installed. A new concrete pile cap will be constructed on top of the new steel sheet piling which will also serve as a foundation for a new perimeter fence. In addition, pervious pavement walkways, decorative lighting, benches, fencing, and grass areas will be installed on the surface area of the rehabilitated jetty (Bid range: $6,400,000.00 to $7,000,000.00). Filling the annular space between the new and existing steel sheet pile bulkheads with 3/4 " crushed stone. o Constructing stone revetment waterward of the existing bulkhead in areas where new steel sheet piling is not being installed. o Installing a concrete pile cap on top of the new steel sheet piling which will also serve as a foundation for a new perimeter fence. o Installing pervious pavement walkways, decorative lighting, benches, fencing, grass areas and planting beds on top of the rehabilitated jetty.
