The Contractor will be required to mobilize to a location within thirty (30) working days of notification by the City of Yonkers. The Contractor must confirm with the City of Yonkers Engineering Department a minimum of forty-eight (48) hours prior to commencing work at each location in regards to this contract. It is the responsibility of the Contractor to contact and obtain all Code 753 mark-outs for existing utility locations prior to commencing work at all locations. The Contractor is responsible to pursue any damages or delays caused by privately/publicly owned utilities with respective private/public utility companies. The City of Yonkers will NOT become involved with any negotiations between the Contractors and privately/publicly owned utility companies for damages or delays incurred while completing the unit bid items under this contract nor will the City of Yonkers compensate the Contractor for these damages or delays. The Contractor is hereby notified that the City of Yonkers does NOT mark out or keep records of private water services and house drain connections. According to the City of Yonkers Code the property owner is responsible for their respective service connections from the building to the respective main lines. The Contractor must provide field crews and equipment sufficient to perform the work continuously and timely as locations are identified. Contractor must be able to provide adequate crews with all equipment necessary. The City of Yonkers Engineering Department is not permitted to dismiss traffic safety and/or parking violations given to the Contractor's vehicles/equipment by the City of Yonkers Police Department nor the Yonkers Parking Authority. The Contractor and his employees' will be held responsible for all respective violation
