The work shall consist of the construction of sludge removal, disposal, and minor lagoon repairs at Osyka Lagoon in Pike County, MS. Completion- 180 calendar days Town of Osyka reserves the right to reject any and all Bids and to waive any and all informalities and reserves the right to hold all Bids for examination for a period not to exceed sixty {60) days and to award the Contract to the lowest and best Bid complying with the Plans and Specifications within said time. Bid security in the form of a Bid Bond, certified check or cashier's check in an amount equal to five percent {5%) of the Bid shall be furnished by each Bidder as required by the Contract Documents. The successful bidder must comply with Section 3 of the HUD Act of 1968 and its associated regulations {24 C.F.R., Part 75). CDBG regulations governing the grant require that, to the greatest extent feasible, opportunities for contracting, subcontracting, training and employment arising in connection with this CDBG project will be extended to Section 3 businesses, Targeted Section 3 Workers and Section 3 Workers. Minority and Woman Owned Business Enterprises are solicited to bid on this contract as prime contractors and are encouraged to make inquiries regarding potential subcontracting opportunities, equipment, material and/or supply needs. fully complete the contract within 180 calendar days. Bidder must agree to pay as liquidated damages the sum of two hundred fifty Dollars ($250.00) for each consecutive calendar day
