The Nashville District, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, intends to issue an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for a firm fixed-price construction contract. The work includes construction of the Barkley Dam Site Water Supply Lines which includes demolishing the existing and installing the new vertical section of the 3" treated water line and the 2" compressed air line in the powerhouse hoistway (approximately 120 feet). This will include a condensate drain, service outlet, and any valves in the existing system. Replace all vertical hangers (fourteen total). The new water and air line must be installed in the existing blockout in the hoistway at Barkley Dam Site near Grand Rivers, Kentucky. SITE VISIT DATE: A site visit is tentatively scheduled for 15 August 2023. Potential Offerors are advised that this date is subject to change.
