Reference Number: 1711006 Deadline for receipt of complaints: 2023-04-17 Ville de Sherbrooke is soliciting tenders for the rehabilitation work on the Rock Forest Dam according to the plans and specifications prepared, and consist, more specifically, but not limited to, of the work described below: - Survey of decks and installation of new temporary survey marks; - Realization of underwater surveys of the structure upstream of the spillways, prior to the design and manufacture of watertight caissons. Subsea surveys must include the configuration on the right bank (right shoulder wall at pillar no. 1) and between pillars no. 8 and 9 which is specific. This step is mandatory and must be performed by certified divers. The conduct of underwater surveys elsewhere on the part of the structure affected by the work is at the discretion of the successful bidder. The results of the survey and measurements must be provided to the market professional; - Dry pillars 1 to 9 and the right shoulder wall using cofferdams or dry caissons; - Repair of pillars 1 to 8; - Replacement of the upstream shielding of pillars 1 to 8; - Replacement of guide grooves and thresholds of valves Nos. 1 to 7; - Repair of the steed between pillars 1 to 8; - Punctual repair on the upstream facing of the courier; - Installation of galvanized steel heating ducts for guide grooves including junction boxes and PVC electrical pipes (excluding heating elements and cables); - Rehabilitation of the right shoulder wall; - Rehabilitation of the right bank wing wall (extension of pillar no. 1 downstream); - Replacement of the spillway deck from the right bank to pillar no. 8, including the replacement of gantry crane rails, the addition of recessed ducts for the passage of electrical wires and the construction of an electrical gutter; - Installation of a temporary access bridge from the generating station to the right bank for the use of the Contractor and for access at all times for Hydro-Sherbrooke employees; - Addition of an expansion joint in the deck at pillar no. 8; - Repair of the top of the bottom valve guard valve well; - Addition of an electrical gutter on top of the water chambers (one section above the concrete and one section embedded in the concrete deck); - Refurbishment of sealants on the plant deck; - Replacement of the protection of the bank on the left bank upstream (construction of a low wall); - Installation of a temporary anchor block for the navigation beacon throughout the duration of the work and the installation of a permanent anchorage on the upstream face of the deck on the right bank. The work covered by this call for tenders is scheduled to last 52 weeks. They will be staggered over a period of two years, a first part in 2023 and a second in 2024. All work must be completed by December 1, 2024.
