The scope of the work consists of improvements to the existing splash pad at the Humboldt Street Recreation Center. The work includes the construction of new water lines, spray features, utility vault, and landscaping; and replacement of splash pad hardscapes and electrical control systems. The improvements will significantly upgrade the park's infrastructure and make future maintenance considerably easier. The work will include, but is not limited to, the following: . Replacement of the existing deteriorated rubber spray park surfacing with color tinted concrete . Removal of the existing underground concrete control vault . Removal of existing spray features and replacement with new modernized features . Construction of new above grade lockable hot box with heat and ventilation . Construction of new manifold and water supply lines from hot box to spray features . Construction of new control system for proposed spray features . Construction of new landscaping at fence and around hot box. This Contract Contains and Incentive Program for Employing Qualified City Residents, Apprenticeship Training Requirements; and New MWBE and Workforce Goals Requirements. This Contract Contains American Rescue Plan Act of 2021 (ARPA) Funds Requirements.
