The improvement for which bids will be received follows: Remove SJE Rhombus STEP/STEF panels and transport to City of Camas Operations Center. Install City provided Orenco Control panel. Install electrical disconnects with locking enclosure. Install City provide pump on/off float and high-level alarm in septic tank and connect with waterproof connects in splice box. Install City provided cord grip into splice box. Test for proper function. All Bid Proposals shall be accompanied by a Bid Proposal deposit in cash, certified check, cashier's check, or surety bond in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the amount of such Bid Proposal. Should the successful Bidder fail to enter into such contract and furnish satisfactory performance bond within the time stated in the most current updated version of the Washington State Department of Transportation (WSDOT) Standard Specifications for Road, Bridge, and Municipal Construction (standard specifications), the Bid Proposal deposit shall be forfeited to the City of Camas. Within ten (10) calendar days after the Award date, the successful Bidder shall return the signed Contracting Agency-prepared Contract, a satisfactory Contract Bond, an insurance certification and other documents as described in the Notice of Award. It is the intent of the City to expedite this work and execute the Contract as soon as possible. If the Contractor fails to timely obtain a court order enjoining disclosure, the City will release the requested information on the date specified. The City of Camas expressly reserves the right to reject any or all Proposals and to waive minor irregularities or informalities and to Award the Project to the lowest responsible bidder as it best serves the interests of the City. The City of Camas also reserves the right to delete any or all portions of individual bid items.
