Furnish, install, test, and startup ultraviolet (UV) disinfection equipment. Construct and install a new drain pump station for the Primary Clarifiers along with a new discharge force main for the station into nearby basin The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids, as may in the judgment of the City, serve its best interest and the City further reserves the right to waive irregularities and informalities in any bid submitted. Reroute the existing plant drain piping to new wetwell. Plug and demolish the existing piping related to the plant drain system. Work includes but is not limited to excavation, backfill, pipe install, painting, equipment suppling and install for new pumps, electrical conduit, wiring and additional appurtenances as required for the successful operation of the new UV System and Primary Clarifier Drain Pumping Station. Provide temporary piping, valves and instrumentation as required to maintain continuous operation of the treatment plant during construction.
