The City reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any irregularities or informalities in any bids or in the bidding process. It shall be mandatory for the Contractor to whom the contract is awarded and for any subcontractor under them to comply will all provisions of the California Labor Code relating to prevailing wage rates, as applicable The City is seeking a vendor to perform routing street sweeping maintenance services on approximately 167.34 miles of arterial highways, 254.93 curb miles of residential streets and sweep the parking lots at 12 City owned parks and facilities. This contract may be renewed on an annual basis by mutual agreement of both parties for an additional one (1) year and another additional one (1) year thereafter, for a potential five (5)-year contract term. City does not have to give reason if it elects not to renew. If City and Contractor are unable to agree on a mutually acceptable contract, the agreement will be terminated.
