New Castle County is seeking sealed bids for fence and gate installation, repair, and replacement, at various County properties on a time and materials basis. New Castle County at various parks and other facilities have other types of fences that may need repair and replacement or installed that are not covered above. Such fencing includes, but not limited to: - Welded Wire Fence - Heavy Duty Welded Wire Fence - Stockade - Post and Rail - Slip-board - Mechanical Gates, swing and sliding - Gates (Wooden and Metal) Questions concerning the project should be submitted in writing via email to Frank Penta at frank.j.penta@newcastlede.gov by end of day on Friday, July 28th, 2023. New Castle County reserves the right to use any information it sees fit to establish the ability and qualifications of any bidder to perform all conditions of the contract, including, but not limited to, visiting bidder's service facilities and requesting additional information after opening bids if such inspection and additional information is considered necessary to properly evaluate a bidder's qualifications and capabilities. This prevents New Castle County from entering into a contract with a firm unable to furnish the quality of workmanship, materials, or services the County requires.
