Bids must be accompanied by separate copies of a certified check or bid bond issued by a Surety company licensed to conduct business in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, in the amount of ten percent (10%) of the total price bid and payable to Doylestown Township. Projects bid submission over $25,000.00 are subject to Prevailing Wage Rates in accordance with PENNSYLVANIA PREVAILING WAGE ACT (Act of Aug. 15, 1961, P.L. 987, No. 442). The successful contractor and shall fully comply with the applicable wage rate decision of the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry. Project Description - The project is located in the Doylestown Township Administration building lobby, 425 Wells Road, Doylestown, PA 18901 and consists of removal of the existing and installation of a new Service Counter Transaction Window for Administration and Code Department. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish and pay for a satisfactory Performance Bond, in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the contract price with a corporate surety approved by Doylestown Township within five (5) days of the notice of award. The anticipated consideration of award date will be as soon as possible, but no later than sixty (60) days from bid opening The contractor will be responsible to remove the existing transaction window, glass and frames. The existing glass and frame can be disposed on site. Contractor shall be responsible to provide all material, labor and equipment to install a new service counter translation window that shall include, but not be limited to the following: - Metal Frame - powder coated white to match the existing entry store front frames. -Glass - Bullet resistant in accordance with the attached Technical Specification. - Openings - Two passthrough areas Admin and Code windows and one horizontal slider window See Appendix G - Existing Condition Photos, Interior Elevation Plan and Technical Specification.
