Work includes removal of portions of the columns, the base plates, cutting the anchor bolts, and minimal slab and CMU wall removal. Then replacing steel column portion, installing new base plate, anchors bolts and section of slab and CMU wall. - Upgrade pump hoist beam at the 1000 Washington Ave. Wastewater Treatment Plant. Work Includes Temporary protect existing pumps, piping, and equipment during demolition. Remove and salvage existing hoist beam, patch existing concrete wall bearing pockets and reroute existing electrical conduit. Sawcut and remove portions of the concrete operating floor for new openings. Fabricate and install miscellaneous steel supports and grating for new openings. Fabricate and install one new hoist beam and relocate and install salvaged hoist beam.
