Bids are invited for the following: Base Bid: Schedule A; Installing approximately 2,200 feet of 8-inch ductile iron potable water pipe, fire hydrants, valves, fittings, appurtenances, site work including excavation, yard piping, and providing a 1.3-million-gallon prestressed concrete potable water reservoir, and Schedule B; providing approximately 3,000 feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron potable water pipe, valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Deductive Alternate No. 1: Schedule B; providing approximately 3,000 feet of 8-inch diameter ductile iron potable water pipe, valves, fittings, and appurtenances. Bidders shall submit a Bid for the Base Bid Schedule A and Schedule B and for Deductive Alternate No. 1 Schedule B contemplated under this Advertisement for Bids. All work will be awarded under one contract. Bid shall be accompanied by Bid security made payable to Owner in an amount of 10 percent of Bidders maximum Bid price and in the form of a penal Bid bond Owners right is reserved to reject all Bids or any Bid not conforming to the intent and purpose of the Bidding Documents.
