The general nature of the work on which bids are requested is: 4,817 SY of pavement removal, 6,943 SY of 10 PCC pavement, 1,747 SY 6 PCC Median, 2,812.8 LF of 4 Subdrain, 511.1 LF of 18 RCP Storm Sewer, 1 Traffic Signal Removal, 1 Traffic Signal, 270.8 STA of Painted Pavement Markings, Durable, and miscellaneous related work, and appurtenances in accordance with the contract documents. Engineer's Estimate: $1,835,336.50 Plans will not be available until 8 AM on Friday, January 5, 2024. Work shall commence no later than June 17, 2024, and be completed within 80 working days. Liquidated damages in the amount of $1,000.00 per working day will be assessed for work not completed within this time 10% bid bond Each successful bidder shall be required to furnish a corporate surety bond in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of its contract price. Said bond to be issued by a responsible surety approved by the City Council and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and the terms and conditions therein contained and shall guarantee the prompt payment of all material and labor and protect and save harmless the City from claims and damages of any kind caused by the operations of the contract.
