The 13,413sf Ohio Army National Guard Armory in Lorain, Ohio sits on 3 acres and requires design and construction administration through general design-bid-build to renovate the following areas: Exterior: building signage, parking lot and walkway lighting, clean sidewalks, remove unused sidewalk. Replace concrete pad outside of the OH door; Investigate and make recommendations for (aged) POV parking lot repairs or replacement as well as the ORG parking lot milling and grading as needed. Improve exterior building lighting and entrance aesthetics (subject to OHPO approval), repair and/or clean exterior brick and windowsills. Bldg. Envelope: Increase building footprint with women's latrine; Replace Windows and Doors (includes overhead door) (subject to OHPO approval) Interior: All Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing and lighting. Replace all interior doors (requires OHPO approval); Renovations and expansion of both bathrooms; reconfigure offices, classrooms, and conference rooms - New drop ceilings (paint ceiling in drill hall), new drywall or masonry repairs, polished concrete floors with unit decals, and new window treatments. Mitigate any known or unknown environmental hazards including but not limited to confirmed lead and asbestos in wall and flooring.
