The consultant's scope of services as described but not limited to the Schedule A Prime Consultant's Services and including below project specific requirements:1080260 The intent of the project is to complete necessary repairs to the building envelope of MTO 6 Bay Patrol Garage (B14922). Refer to Building Envelope Study (Project #1064907). The scope to include the following: 1) Removal of rust, painting steel door and frame with zinc-rich primer and finish coat in 6-bay garage. 2) Repairing the exposed spray foam insulation around the window at the 6-bay garage to restore the air/vapour barrier and to prevent cold draft discomfort and save energy, along with installation of a metal closure to protect the insulation from UV. Project is to bundle with (#1080378). The project shall be in compliance with the latest IO Design and Commissioning Guidelines. The consultant shall produce specifications for the proposed repairs; prepare tendering package, carry out onsite QA, work inspection, provide closeout, warranty & inspection documents. Contractor is required to provide a timeline for the system installation, which shall be approved by the client, as not to interrupt Ministry programs. A project specific DSS will be required as ACMs are present and have been confirmed in drywall and joint compounds of the walls according to the latest asbestos reassessment. Appropriate security clearances and an escort will be required.Please note that the study recommends option 3, however. The current assumption is that this project will proceed with the scope described above. 1080378 The intent of the project is to complete necessary repairs to the building envelope of MTO 9 Bay equipment storage (B14923) as recommended in Building Envelope Study (Project #1064907). The scope is to replace approximately 30 sq.m (323 sq.ft) of spalled and damaged bricks on the columns at the south elevation of the 9 bay equipment storage building. The project is to be bundled with Envelope Repairs at MTO 6 Bay Patrol Garage Project #1080260.The project shall be in compliance with the latest IO Design and Commissioning Guidelines. The consultant shall produce specifications for the proposed repairs; prepare tendering package, carry out onsite QA, work inspection, provide closeout, warranty & inspection documents. Contractor is required to provide a timeline for the system installation, which shall be approved by the client, as not to interrupt Ministry programs. A project specific DSS will be required as presumed asbestos in the caulking according to the latest asbestos reassessment. Appropriate security clearances and an escort will be required. Replacement of spalled and damaged bricks in the 9-Bay garage should only include the south elevation as described above.
