The City of Moncton requires the services of an experienced and qualified contractor to provided masonry and mortar repair and repointing work at Highfield Pumping Station as indicated in the attached drawings and specifications. The project includes, but is not limited to: a) Mechanically rake joints to be repointed. Repoint using compatible mortar. b) Cut out and remove loose, cracked and spalled brick. Supply and install new bricks. c) Remove deteriorated caulking at man door frames. Clean, prepare joints as required and caulk joints following manufacturers installation instructions. d) Remove deteriorated caulking at windowsills, clean, prepare joints, and cracks as required and caulk joints and cracks following manufacturers installation instructions. All work encompassed in this document shall have an anticipated completion date of SEPTEMBER 30, 2023. A BID BOND made payable to "The City of Moncton", in the amount of TEN PERCENT (10%) OF THE TOTAL TENDERED PRICE (TAXES INCLUDED), shall accompany each bid as a guarantee that a Contract will be entered if a bid is accepted.
